Assault in Jeff Davis hotel The victims were inside their hotel room in the 7500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 1 a.m. on June 16 when the suspects entered the room. The male victim was assaulted with the butt of a shotgun before the suspects left with money and their cell phones. Other recently reported crimes from the Chesterfield County Police include: Chippenham Parkway. The tires and rims were stolen from a disabled vehicle left overnight on June 14. Coalboro Road. On June 14, the suspect/s used a hacksaw to cut open a side garage door and entered a house in the 11700 block through an unlocked interior door. After rummaging through the entire residence, they stole firearms and jewelry. Handel Court. The victim was delivering a pizza shortly before 11 p.m. in the 5700 block when an armed suspect demanded his money. The victim didn't comply immediately, causing the suspect to leave without the money. Jefferson Davis Highway. At 9:40 p.m. on June 14, the suspect entered Jay's Food Mart in the 7200 block and threatened the clerk with a lead pipe. After getting money from the register, the suspect left in a vehicle. Jefferson Davis Highway. The suspect/s broke into the Richmond Food Mart in the 6500 block in the early morning hours of June 14 by first cutting the phone lines and then prying open the front door. They ripped the alarm from the wall and moved the security camera before taking money from the registers. A power tool was used to open the safe. Kingston Avenue. The suspect entered AmeriSuites in the 13100 block at 2 a.m. on June 15 and threatened the desk clerk. She gave him the money and the suspect left. Otterdale Road. The suspect drove up to the residence in the 7300 block at 1:30 p.m. on June 14 and knocked on the front door. He then went to the side door and kicked it in. The door swung open, hitting the victim who was home alone. Seeing the victim, the suspect fled. Partridge Run. The suspect/s entered the residence in the 6900 block during the day on June 20 through an unlocked door and went into the attic, falling through the ceiling at one point. Nothing was taken. |
