New assistant editor named

Donna C. Gregory has been named the assistant editor for the Chesterfield Observer. She is the winner of several journalistic awards from the Virginia Press Association and served as the newspaper's editor for its women's section from 2002-05.

The Chesterfield Board of Supervisors made these reappointments: Judge Frederick G. Rockwell, Judge Thomas L. Murphey, William W. Davenport, Brad Peebles, Lee Coble, Colonel Carl Baker, Eileen Brown and Laura Kuchinsky to the Community

Criminal Justice Board; E. Frank Dunton and Jack Wilson to the Board of Building Code Appeals; John Ruckart to the Economic Development Authority; and Jay Stegmaier and Mary Ann Curtin to the Riverside Regional Jail Authority.

The board also appointed Susie Brown and Dean Lynch to serve on the ChesterfieldColonial Heights Social Services Board; Roy Covington to the South Central Wastewater Authority Board; and Clover Hill Supervisor

Art Warren and Art Heinz, of the Chesterfield County Chamber of Commerce, to serve
