Chesterfield man goes to court for indecent exposure
 

A 44-year-old Chesterfield County man will go to trial on August 22 in General District Court for indecent exposure. Police arrested Robert W. Robins, of the 10700 block of Blossomwood Road, on July 14 for allegedly exposing himself outside a restaurant on Commonwealth Centre Parkway.

Robins is accused of exposing himself on June 21 to citizens as they dined at an area eatery.

In other police reports:

Beaver Bridge Road. At 5 a.m. on July 13, the suspect broke out a side window panel of a residence in the 9100 block. The suspect unlocked the deadbolt but fled when the victims inside called out.

Broadstone Road. The suspect entered the residence in the 9000 block through what appears to be an unlocked door at 5:15 a.m. on July 13 and knocked over a baby gate. His entry tripped the alarm, awakening the victims. They yelled at the intruder, and he fled.

Chesterfield Avenue. A 1984 Datsun was stolen from a repair shop in the 20800 block and sold for scrap by the suspect to Atlantic Iron and Metal in Petersburg.

Darylann Court. On the morning of July 13, the suspect entered the residence in the 900 block through an unlocked window, and stole change that was being kept in a plastic bottle.

Goolsby Avenue. Stereos were stolen from three unlocked vehicles in the 2800 block on July 11-12.

Lancers Boulevard. The victim's 1996 Dodge van was stolen from the 3000 block over the weekend and later recovered in Fairfax County.

Oakforest Drive. About 1 a.m. on July 17, the victim was house-sitting when the suspect tried to enter the residence in the 5000 block. He finally gained entry through an unlocked bathroom window but quickly fled when he saw the victim.

Provincetown Drive. The victim was having dinner with the suspect at her residence when he allegedly brandished a knife, tied her up and raped her. Afterwards, he allegedly stole her vehicle, credit card and cell phone. Police later arrested Clarence M. Copeland, 35, of the 16800 block of Jaydee Court in Moseley.

Winterpock Road. Mandy M. Stiles, 27, of the 3900 block of Richmond Road in Amelia County, was arrested and charged with DUI and grand larceny after she allegedly stole a 1990 Ford pickup from the 9800 block on July 7. The victim had left the keys in the truck. Stiles drove a few blocks before the pickup was involved in an accident.
