Dave Bradfield is a self-proclaimed "nice guy" who knows and loves wireless technology. He spent nearly10 years working for another wireless carrier, but decided to relocate back to the Midlothian area from Arizona to open Wireless 101 and be closer to family.

Wireless 101 is an independent venture for Bradfield and his wife Linda. He aligned with Verizon Wireless based on its reputation for having a high quality network and the products and services it offers.

His personable nature allows him to take time with customers and answer all of their questions. He also instills the same thought process to his employees. "I try not to be the 'fast food' of wireless," he jokes. "I would like Wireless 101 to be their neighborhood cellular store."

If you have recently changed cellular carriers or phones, Wireless 101 offers a convenient service that transfers your cell phone contact list from one phone to another.

"Wireless 101 is a solutions provider - using what Verizon Wireless has to offer," Bradfield states. He employs a creative approach for your wireless needs.

Bradfield stocks the latest selection of mobile phones and wireless accessories including Bluetooth, Blackberry, Treo, Motorola, LG, Nokia and Samsung. Wireless 101 also carries the Migo, an easy-to-use mobile phone designed for kids ages 10 and under.

He recommends using compatible phone chargers and accessories vs. generic products sold at large chain retailers. For example, he has found that the Motorola Bluetooth headset works best with a Motorola phone. "It's best if you want optimal quality."

Open since July 2004, Wireless 101 opened its second location in the 'original' Stony Point shopping center next to Ukrop's in 2005. Its other location is in the Harbour Pointe Village shopping center on Hull Street Road near Ukrop's. So get mobile and check out what Wireless 101 has to offer.
