New nursing facility opens

Governor Tim Kaine will preside over the opening of John Tyler Community College's n e w nursing facility donated by CJW by CJW Medical Center at the Johnston-Willis campus on Wednesday, August 23 at 9:30 a.m.

The Huguenot American 10and 11-year-old All-Star Team recently won the District 5 championship and advanced to the state championship where they placed fourth. In the last winning game, the Huguenot team beat West Springfield 14-4 with Sam Albus as the winning pitcher while Nick Williamson and Andrew Turner hit homeruns.
