Lucy Corr Village hosts UVA Public Policy Forum

Springdale at Lucy Corr Village will be a host site for the University of Virginia Miller Center Public Policy Forum this fall.

The forum program provides continuing education for the American public through live web casts and C-SPAN broadcasts.

Each week, the forum brings together leading experts and thoughtful audiences for lively discussions of critical public policy topics. It fosters a genuine and ongoing exchange of views between those who make or study policy and an informed citizenry. The forum program is nonpartisan and seeks to present diverse points of view.

Lucy Corr Village will collaborate with the Shepherd Center of Chesterfield as a host site for the Miller Forum beginning Sept. 8, when Robert Hutchings, former chair for the National Intelligence Council, presents "Mapping the Global Future." The live web cast will be presented at 11 a.m. in the community room at Lucy Corr Village.

Other broadcasts are scheduled throughout September, and the forums are open to the public. Seating is limited and can be reserved by calling Lucy Corr Village at 706-5712.

This fall's schedule includes:
