Loud party leads to arrests Two people are facing charges that include assault and battery of a police officer and obstructing justice stemming from a party in the 12900 block of Grove Hill Road around midnight on Sept. 4. Earlier in the evening, a neighbor asked the partygoers to keep the noise down. Fredericksburg resident Andrew G. Wint, 28, allegedly forced his way into the complaining neighbor's apartment and assaulted him. Wint is also charged with entering the apartment with the intent to commit a felony. In the process of making the arrests, a physical struggle ensued. Police arrested Rebekah L. Masters, 22, of the 1400 block of Creekpointe Court. In other police reports: Bailey Bridge Road. Fire extinguishers and first aid kits were removed from four school buses on Sept. 4 in the 12600 block. Chippendale Drive. The victim returned from church on Aug. 31 and noticed the suspect was following her. At the top of the apartment stairs he displayed a gun, took her purse and ran off. Commonwealth Centre Parkway. The victims were shopping in a store on Sept. 4 at 2:15 p.m. in the 4900 block when they saw the suspect standing in the aisle with his pants around his ankles, exposing himself. Kingsland Road. At 9:40 p.m. on Aug. 31, three armed men robbed the Spencer's store and threatened the store clerk. Spring Run Road. On Aug. 31, someone broke out the windshields and slashed the tires of four vehicles in the 10200 block. A pick axe was found in the windshield of one vehicle. The suspects took change from a second vehicle and siphoned gas from another. Tanner's Way. While the victim was away for the summer, the suspect(s) used the apartment numerous times, apparently gaining entry through the rear sliding glass door, which was found open. The suspect(s) used the kitchen and the bathroom, and clothing and consumable goods were missing. Temie Lee Parkway. Someone stole the victim's dog from a locked 1997 pickup while he was inside of a business in the 6800 block shortly before 10 a.m on Aug. 29. There were no signs of forced entry into the vehicle. |
