Symphony Designer House now open for viewing

The 2006 Richmond Symphony Designer House, located at 2525 Maple Hall Court in Founders Bridge, is now open for public viewing through Oct. 8, plus the weekends of October 14 and 15 and October 21 and 22. Hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays and noon-5 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are available at the door for $15 per person.

This is the first time the Designer House has been located in Chesterfield.

The 7,600-square-foot, four-story home features the latest technology as well as

state-of-the-art materials and architectural features. Visitors who tour the home will walk through 16 design areas highlighting the work of distinguished designers, including David Allen Ballas Interiors, David Barden Home, Daydreams Interiors and Fringe, Inc. The house will highlight the latest trends in colors, fabrics, furniture and accessory collections from around the world.

After the event, the home will be listed for $1.8 million.
