Congressman Eric Cantor's District Representative, Lloyd Lenhart, will hold constituent service hours at the Midlothian Library from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Cantor's office provides this service for constituents who need assistance or have problems with federal agencies or benefits including the IRS, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, federal small business loans, visas, passports, immigration, federal student loans, veteran's benefits and FHA/HUD loans. Citizens are also welcome to express their opinions on matters of concern, particularly national topics or issues before the U.S. Congress. South of the James Jaycees inaugural Young Professionals Miniature Golf Tournament, 12 p.m., Oasis Sports Park, 15300 Cosby Rd. Cost: $25 per person, includes 18-hole miniature golf, club usage, catered lunch by Carrabba's Italian Grill, awards ceremony with prizes for low and high scores, registration goody bag and a chance to win prizes including a six-month membership to American Family Fitness, Sheetz gas cards, Wal-Mart gift cards, and an IPOD.

Orienteering Course Day, noon-3 p.m., Harry G. Daniel Park at Iron Bridge, 6600 White Pine Rd. Use map and compass skills to compete against others for the fastest time through one of three courses. This activity is great for those ages 5 and older, including adults and scouts-troops welcome. Adults must accompany children under 14. The fee is $2 per person. Maps and compasses will be available. Rabies Vaccination Clinic, 1-3 p.m., Chesterfield County Fairgrounds Arts and Crafts Building, 10300 Courthouse Rd. Vaccinations will be available for dogs and cats at a cost of $6 per animal. Golfers are invited to participate in the Second Annual Chesterfield County Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic, presented by Medallion Swimming Pool Co., on Thurs., Sept. 28 at the Highlands Golfer's Club, 8136 Highlands Glen Dr. Team registration will begin at 11 a.m. with play beginning at 1 p.m. Golfers will be treated to lunch, dinner and refreshments with numerous opportunities to win prizes including a vehicle provided by Colonial Honda or a set of golf clubs.
