Chesterfield man is charged with knife assault on Pointer Circle Chesterfield police arrested 27year-old Oscar E. Ramirez of the 5800 block of Handel Court last week in a domestic-related incident. He allegedly broke into a house in the 6200 block of Pointer Circle on Sept. on Sept. 16 and assaulted a victim with a knife. The victim suffered a minor cut. Ramirez is charged with breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony and felonious assault. In other police reports: Alcott Road. At 9 p.m. on Sept. 10, the victims heard a noise outside their bedroom window in the 2500 block and went outside to find a stool near the window. A teenage boy was charged with peeping into an occupied building and destruction of property. Cloverleaf Mall. The suspect entered Italian Gold shortly after 1 p.m. on Sept. 18 and left, but then returned 15 minutes later. When he asked the clerk to look at some jewelry, the victim took out a jewelry board. The suspect displayed a handgun and ordered the victim to put the board into a bag he had brought. The suspect then exited the store and ran out the front entrance of the mall. Crenshaw Elementary School. The suspect(s) used a wooden ladder to climb up on the roof and forced open a roof hatch. Once inside the school, they heavily damaged several doors by forcing them open. A number of items were broken in classrooms when they were thrown around, but nothing appears to have been stolen. Hull Street Road. The victim was walking from his hotel in the 10200 block at 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 14 for cigarettes when two men approached him. One suspect struck him in the head, knocking the victim to the ground. The suspects looked through his wallet and then tossed it to the ground before walking off. Jefferson Davis Highway. At 4 p.m. on Sept. 15, an armed suspect entered the Subway in the 9100 block and demanded that two employees open the safe. They told him they couldn't. The suspect then forced everyone to the front of the store and had an employee empty the cash register. Oak Lake Boulevard. Tools were taken from a vehicle and copper tubing from a storage shed belonging to C&L Plumbing in the 2600 block on Sept. 14. Both were found at a nearby fence. Philbrook Road. The victim's 2005 Toyota Camry disappeared from the 6600 block back in March, but he did not report it stolen, because he assumed it had been repossessed. When he checked with the finance company about repurchasing it, they told him they had not repossessed the vehicle. Salem Church Elementary and Middle schools. Chesterfield police arrested 14-year-old and 15-year-old boys on Sept. 18 after they confessed to breaking into both schools and committing theft and vandalism. They entered the elementary school through an unlocked door and broke a window to get inside the middle school. |
