Readers disagree on "Loose Ends" column

Dear Editor,

With reference to the letter from Laura Deely regarding "Loose Ends" [written] by Susan Nienow, it took more than five minutes to write that letter and a whole lot more time used on unnecessary destructive criticism regarding the articles that are published by Ms. Nienow, which are enjoyed by many including myself. Life is way too short! It would be better for Laura Deely to spend time on issues that she obviously feels strongly about and just don't read what does not interest her.

In the meantime, I will continue to look forward to receiving the Chesterfield Observer, and as I walk from the mailbox, my routine of reading Loose Ends will add that little lift of humor in the real world that I many times can relate to.

Dear Editor,

I can certainly appreciate the letter from Laura Deely in the Oct. 4 issue of the Chesterfield Observer. It sounds like she would make a wonderful writer. How about giving her a job? I certainly would read her column.
