Specialty centers plan open houses Chesterfield County Public Schools offers students the opportunity to participate in specialty center programs at each high school that target specific interests. Middle school students interested in learning more about high school opportunities are invited to attend open houses at the specialty centers and at two governor's schools. Here is the schedule: Oct. 30, 7 p.m. - Mathematics and Science High School at Clover Hill High, 13900 Hull Street Road. Nov. 1, 6:30 p.m. - Appomattox Regional Governor's School in Petersburg. Nov. 2, 7 p.m. - Pre-Engineering Specialty Center at Lloyd C. Bird High, 10301 Courthouse Road. Nov. 8, 6:30 p.m. - Maggie L. Walker Governor's School in Richmond. Nov. 9, 6:30 p.m. - Visual and Performing Arts Specialty Center at Thomas Dale High, 3626 W. Hundred Road.
