It's craft fair season

The chill in the air signals the beginning of craft fair season. The following arts and crafts events are scheduled in the county:

Sat., Oct 28

St. Luke's United Methodist Church Fall Festival, 4101 Fordham Road, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Arts, crafts, hayride, games, baked goods, silent auction, Brunswick stew.

Sat., Nov. 4

Chester United Methodist Church Red Bird Mission Craft Sale, 12132 Percival Street, Chester, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Featuring mountain crafts of the Red Bird Mission.

Cookies and Crafts Fair, Woodlake United Methodist Church, 6601 Woodlake Village Parkway, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Arts, crafts, cookies, holiday decorations, accessories, baked goods, concessions.

Clover Hill High School Annual Arts & Craft Fair, 13900 Hull Street Road, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Christmas ornaments, handmade toys, knitted items, jewelry, stained glass, American Indian crafts, aromatherapy items, baked goods, breakfast and lunch concessions.

Sat., Nov. 11

Arts & Apples at Woodlake, Woolridge Elementary School, 5401 Timber Bluff Parkway, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.. Arts, crafts, baked goods and apple pies.

First Congregational United Church of Christ Holiday Craft Bazaar, 4310 Courthouse Road, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Jewelry, woodworking, fabric arts, toys, gift items, home and holiday decorations, and baked goods.

Monacan Craft Fair, Monacan High School, 11501 Smoketree Drive, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Holiday gifts, decorations, jewelry, gourmet gift baskets, raffle prizes and concessions.

Southside Nazarene Church Arts & Crafts Show, 6851 Courthouse Road, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Stained glass, jewelry, accessories, home furnishings, children's craft activities and concessions.

St. Augustine's Christmas Bazaar, 4400 Beulah Road, 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Christmas ornaments, baked goods, cookbooks, quilt raffle and white elephant sale.

Sat, Nov. 19

St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church Christmas Bazaar, 828 Buford Road, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Christmas items, silent auction, religious items, baked goods and pancake breakfast.

Sat., Dec. 2

Ecoff Elementary School Jingle Bell Bazaar, 5200 Ecoff Avenue, Chester, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Holiday wreaths, toile purses, funky jewelry, handmade scarves, ponchos and wearable art, Sand-Art and handmade toys, gifts for pets, children and spouses, baked goods and concessions. Admission is $1.

Episcopal Church of the Redeemer Christmas Bazaar, 2341 Winterfield Road, Midlothian, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Arts, crafts, ornaments, jewelry, oil paintings, American Indian crafts, wood items, gourmet foods, baked goods and concessions.
