Corrections & Amplifications

In a story that appeared in the Nov. 8 issue about redevelopment plans for Cloverleaf Mall, the Chesterfield Observer reported that a rezoning had to be filed by Nov. 15. The county source was mistaken. The due diligence period for developer Crosland ends Nov. 15, and an agreement between Crosland and the county will be signed afterward.

The newspaper also reported that the county had "committed" to putting a library at Cloverleaf Mall since the layout plan shows a county library. However, the county does not include a library at Cloverleaf Mall in its capital improvements plan, and therefore no commitment has been made. A county planning source said the possibility of a library there is "an idea."
