Children explore pets

The Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation Department will host "A Three-Year-Old's First Look at Pets" program on Thurs., Dec. 7, from 10-11 a.m. at Rockwood Park, 3401 Courthouse Road.

Children ages 3-4 will learn which animals make good pets, what pets need and how to handle them.

The fee is $4 per child, and registration is required.
