      A recent study by Substance Abuse Free Environment Inc. (SAFE) shows inhalant use by teens in Chesterfield is above the national average. Now, SAFE is hoping to educate parents, students and the community about this dangerous practice during a special seminar at Monacan High School on Tues., Mar. 20 at 7 p.m.

      Imagine if you were living the Cinderella fairytale. You get invited to the ball, but then realize you have nothing to wear, and no funds to buy that perfect gown. Fortunately, county high school students wishing to attend their prom need not have a fairy godmother to make their wishes come true thanks to Q94 and the Midlothian Junior Woman's Club.

Science textbooks available for review on Apr. 5
      Chesterfield County Public Schools plans to replace the textbooks used in all middle and high school science classes and is seeking community input. All science textbooks under consideration will be displayed from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Apr. 5 in the library of Clover Hill High School, 13900 Hull Street Rd.
