Police arrest three juveniles for trespassing

Chesterfield police caught three juveniles, ages 14-17, on June 4 after they entered the W.S. Carnes building in Meadowbrook Plaza from the roof. They were arrested and charged with trespassing.

The same building was entered from the roof on May 12, and the interior was vandalized.

In other police reports:

Adkins Road. The complainant left the 2005 Jeep unlocked with the keys in the ignition in the 1100 block. The vehicle was stolen and found on fire in Richmond on June 5.

Amerdale Avenue. Chesterfield police located a stolen 1990 Toyota on May 29 on Seminole Avenue in Richmond after it had been stolen while the victim was inside a bank. The passenger side window had been broken out and pry marks were found around the stereo.

Burnt Oak Drive. On June 4 in the 2800 block, a 1993 Chrysler van was stolen but later recovered in Richmond on Limestone Drive. Three other vehicles were entered in the Ivy Walk Apartments complex and damaged.

Dawnshire Road. The suspect(s) entered a portable classroom at Bellwood Elementary School sometime during the first weekend of June and spray painted the interior and exterior of the trailer and vandalized a rock garden outside.

Douglas Avenue. The victim was giving a woman a ride at 1 a.m. on June 1 when he noticed his 1993 Chevrolet was being followed. After the woman asked him to stop in the 5000 block, a suspect armed with a handgun approached, asking him to get out of the car and give him his money. The suspect and the woman then got into the suspect's vehicle and drove off. A second suspect got into the victim's Chevrolet and drove off.

Echo Ridge Place. A person known to the victim is reported to have set fire to the rear door of a residence in the 3900 block on June 3. At press deadline, Chesterfield police were still investigating.

Goolsby Avenue. Stereo equipment was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2800 block on May 30.

Jefferson Davis Highway. Five vehicles were entered by unknown persons on June 1 at Larry's Towing in the 16600 block, and various items were stolen. A Chrysler had all four tires removed and was left sitting on cinderblocks with the trunk open.

Marina Drive. At 1:15 a.m. on June 1, the victim was walking to the rear of Falling Creek Apartments when two armed suspects began assaulting him. They searched his wallet and then a pocket before taking the cash and fleeing.

Winterbourne Drive. The victim said the suspect exposed himself to her in the 4600 block when he went to his mailbox at about 6 p.m. on June 1.
