Three juveniles arrested for firing weapon into house

Chesterfield police arrested three juveniles, ages 16 and 17, in Ettrick for discharging a firearm into an occupied residence in the 3400 block of South Street at 6 p.m. on Sept. 1. Two workmen were inside the house when they heard two gunshots. They went outside and found one of the shots had hit the residence, but no one was hurt.

Police said one of the juveniles lived nearby, and the weapon was not intentionally fired at the house.

In other crime reports:

Cromwell Road. Someone broke into a locked Toyota Matrix in the 2500 block on Sept. 2 and stole its satellite radio.

French Creek Trail. Sometime during the early morning hours of Aug. 30 someone took beer from a refrigerator in the garage of a residence in the 12800 block of the Walton Lake neighborhood.

Midlothian Turnpike. The victim said a former neighbor gained access to information about his 1996 Mercedes, which was stored at a tow lot on Bellson Park Drive. The suspect used the information to get the vehicle's title and sell it.

• The suspect exposed himself to the victim inside one of the stores at Chesterfield Towne Center at 6 p.m. on Sept. 1.

Moravia Road. The victim was walking home from Blockbuster at 7 p.m. on Aug. 29 when he was hit in the head several times from behind by the suspect who took his wallet. The suspect threw the victim's wallet at him before driving off.

Research Road. A locked 2005 Caterpillar backhoe was stolen from behind PR Mechanical in the 600 block on Aug. 29.

Whitehouse Road. The complainant drove by the home in the 2600 block on Aug. 31 to check on it for the out-of-town owners and saw a light on inside. When police responded, they found one adult and two juveniles inside. Mark Aaron Bonner, 24, of East Avenue in Colonial Heights, and the juveniles were arrested and charged with breaking and entering, trespassing and vandalism.
