Three residents arrested for robbery, gang activity
Chesterfield police have arrested three local young adults for the robbery of a private residence on Conifer Road that was allegedly gang-related. According to police, Brandon L. Drumheller, 21, of the 4100 block of Lamplighter Court; Trevor R. Edwards, 19, of the 4900 block of Glen Tara Drive; and Trey L. Lumpkin, 20, of the 14200 block of Cherry Street, were each arrested on Sept. 11 on charges of robbery and prohibited criminal street gang participation. Capt. Russ Lescault said the state allows the gang participation charge to be added to other charges "if it's associated. They freely admitted [to gang participation] when asked about their tattoos." Lescault asked that the name of the gang not be used in this news report because it might draw attention to the group. In other crime reports: Airfield Drive. The suspect and 8-10 of his friends arrived uninvited at a party at the County Airport at 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 15. When the suspect took a chain from around the victim's neck, a fight ensued, and everyone at the party fled outside the building. Branders Bridge Road. A bomb threat was found in a bathroom at Community High School at 8 a.m. on Sept. 18. No bomb was found. Conifer Road. Someone gained entry into a barn, garage and several unlocked vehicles parked in the yard of a residence in the 4200 block on Sept. 17. Money and a vehicle were stolen. Hull Street Road. Chesterfield police are investigating a fight that occurred at 2 a.m. on Sept. 16 in the 11000 block. A suspect fired shots into the air, and several victims were beaten up. Lamplighter Road. The victim was sitting on his porch in the 4200 block at 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 17 when the two suspects approached. One showed him a handgun while the other demanded his cell phone. They took the phone and his wallet and walked away. Ransom Hill Road. A Red Pocket motorcycle was reported stolen from the victim's porch in the 3200 block on Sept. 18. Rivers Bend Shopping Center. The victim was shopping at 12:30 p.m. on Sept.13 when the suspect asked for help in locating a food item. The victim felt a tug on her purse, but the suspect said she had just tripped. At checkout, the victim was unable to find her wallet. It was later found in one of the aisles with the money missing. South Street. The victim was walking at 12:17 a.m. on Sept. 14 in the 3500 block when first approached by the suspect. She ignored him, but he later came up behind her and attempted to pull down her shorts. There was a struggle, and she was able to flee to the train station in Ettrick. West Providence Road. Over the weekend of Sept.15-16 the suspect(s) climbed up on the roof of Providence Elementary School and then used a ladder to get down into the courtyard. Several windows were shot with what appeared to be a BB gun. |
