County officials try to calm staph fears
      Chesterfield County's chief health expert is playing down the media attention given to a recent occurrence of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) at a county school. Earlier this month, parents learned that several James River High School football players had contracted the serious staph infection.

Breast cancer fashion show
     Spring Arbor of Salisbury resident Eleanor Slease greeted friend and fellow resident, Anne Pappacoda, while modeling an outfit during a fall fashion show hosted by the assisted living community last week. The show was held in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and featured the latest fall fashions modeled by Spring Arbor residents and local breast cancer survivors.
