Meadowdale Library closes on Jan. 11

In preparation for its demolition and the subsequent construction of a new library facility, the Meadowdale Library will close on Thurs., Jan. 11, at 9 p.m.

An interim facility for the library is scheduled to open next to the Thomas Fulghum Center, 4003 Cogbill Road, on Mon., Feb. 12, at 10 a.m. This facility will serve library customers until the new Meadowdale Library building is completed in 2008. The interim Meadowdale Library's hours will be Mon.-Thurs., 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. and Fri.-Sat., 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Any recently borrowed materials will not be due until the interim library opens in February. If customers wish to return materials borrowed from Meadowdale Library between Jan. 13 and Feb. 11, they may take them to any other county library.
