ANNOUNCEMENTS Delegate Sam Nixon (R-27th District) has been ranked as the most business-friendly in the House of Delegates by the Virginia Foundation for Research and Economic Education. The Chesterfield Republican shepherded the Communication Tax Simplification Act through the General Assembly last year. Sheehy Ford will donate at least $10,000 on Feb. 6 to Meals on Wheels at the Sheehy Ford dealership located on Midlothian Turnpike. Scott Strauss of Sheehy Ford will present the check in a ceremony at 11 a.m. The Chris Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established to honor a local drummer who passed away suddenly last October. The scholarship is open to all Chesterfield County Public High School senior drummers and percussionists who plan to attend college to pursue a career in music and demonstrate financial need.
