Grow your knowledge of horticulture

Chesterfield County Cooperative Extension is offering a series of free horticultural workshops. They include:

March 8 - Pruning small trees, 7 p.m., LaPrade Library, 9000 Hull Street Road.

March 13 - Pruning shrubs, 7 p.m., Clover Hill Library, 6701 Deer Run Drive.

March 27 - Getting your yard in shape for spring, 7 p.m., Midlothian Library, 521 Coalfield Road.

March 28 - Everything you ever wanted to know about trees, 7 p.m., Bon Air Library, 9103 Rattlesnake Road.

March 29 - Planting America's Anniversary Garden, 7 p.m., Chester Library, 11800 Centre Street.
