Libraries celebrate Dr. Seuss' 103rd birthday In The Spotlight The Chesterfield County Public Library is celebrating Dr. Seuss' 103rd birthday by hosting parties on Mar. 1. There will be prizes, games, balloons, stories, movies and Dr. Seuss tunes. Join in the fun from 4-5 p.m. at the following libraries: Bon Air, Central, Chester, Clover Hill and Enon. Parties will also be held from 7-8 p.m. at these libraries: Ettrick-Matoaca, LaPrade and Midlothian. Registration is required. Virginia Cooperative Extension has developed the America's Anniversary Garden to help individuals, communities and groups commemorate the first permanent English settlement at Jamestown. Find out how you can grow your own anniversary garden. Refreshments will be served. This program is recommended for adults ages 55 and older.
