Science textbooks available for review on Apr. 5

Chesterfield County Public Schools plans to replace the textbooks used in all middle and high school science classes and is seeking community input. All science textbooks under consideration will be displayed from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Apr. 5 in the library of Clover Hill High School, 13900 Hull Street Rd.

Also, during school hours on that same day, every middle school will have a display of the middle school textbooks under consideration and every high school will have a display of the high school textbooks under consideration.

Parents and other community members are invited to review the science books and fill out evaluation forms for the textbook review committee.

A recommendation on which books to adopt will go before the Chesterfield School Board on May 8. Students will begin using the new textbooks in September.
