Explore ironworks and gristmill during archaeology tour

Spring hike, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Henricus Park Visitor Center, 251 Henricus Park Rd. Search for spring at the Brown and Williamson Conservation Area. This is a moderate to strenuous three-mile hike with one stream crossing. Fee of $10 includes transportation and interpretive guide. Children's Safety Event, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Priority Toyota, 2000 Walthall Center Dr., Chester (I-95 South Exit 58A). Guests with children will receive a free kid safety kit that includes a photo identification card, medical information worksheet, DNA isolation card and fingerprint chart. There will also be prizes, food and raffles for both kids and parents. The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Department and Priority Staff will be on hand to take photographs for ID cards, help with fingerprinting, pass out materials and talk to kids about safety.
