Police to arrest suspect after hospital release At press deadline, Chesterfield police are keeping mum on a suspect they plan to arrest after he is released from a local hospital. The suspect suffered a self-inflicted knife wound on Mar. 25 after he fled from police at 1:30 p.m. He was later found wounded while hiding in some nearby bushes. According to the police report, the suspect allegedly broke into his girlfriend's apartment in the 7500 block of Marbrett Drive near in the 7500 block Boulders office park. While inside the apartment, he held a knife on another female and demanded that she tell him where his girlfriend was. The woman fled the apartment and called the police. In other police reports: Bellson Park Drive. Money and clothing were taken from the victim's vehicle in the 3500 block during mid-March after the vehicle was involved in a traffic accident. Boulder Springs Drive. The suspect kicked in the front door of an apartment in the 800 block at 2:35 p.m. on Mar. 23, but fled when he saw the victim's son. Krause Road. The suspect entered through the door near the play area of the Burger King in the 10100 block on Mar. 21 at 10:15 p.m. He ordered the employee at the counter to give him the money in the register. When she didn't respond quickly enough, he showed her the handle of a silver handgun. She was unable to open the register so the suspect ordered her to bring the other employees to the front counter. After getting money from the drive-thru, the suspect ran off. Murray Olds Drive. The victim discovered his 1969 Mercedes Benz had been missing for about a month when he went by the business to check on the progress of the car being detailed. Pleasantview Road. The victim found a bag burning on her front porch in the 11600 block at 7 p.m. on Mar. 24, and obscenities were printed on the exterior of her residence. West Banes Court. Someone stole a 2007 Toyota rental car that was left idling in the 6500 block on Mar. 22 around 6:35 a.m. |
