Visual arts textbooks up for review on Apr. 20

Chesterfield County Public Schools plans to replace textbooks used in visual arts courses in high schools and is seeking community input.

The visual arts textbooks being considered will be on display Apr. 20 at every high school during school hours. Parents and other community members may visit a high school to review the books and fill out evaluation forms for the textbook review committee. A recommendation on which visual arts textbooks to adopt will go before the Chesterfield County School Board on May 8. Students will use the new textbooks starting in September.
