Chesterfield Golfer: Keith West
My favorite place to play in Chesterfield is… The Highlands. It is both a challenging and a pretty course.

Page Dowdy/Chesterfield Observer Chesterfield resident Keith West's favorite place to play in the county is the Highlands Golfers' Club.
The most challenging course in Chesterfield is… Rivers Bend. You must hit it straight.

My best golf tip is… Keep your head down.

My funniest golf story… Playing with my brother-in-law, I teed off first and was really concentrating on trying to hit a good shot. But I sliced the ball ridiculously to the right. My brother-in-law walked over to me, leaned on his driver and said with all seriousness, "Keith, I saw exactly what you did." And that was [what], I asked, hoping for some enlightenment. "You screwed up," he said and never cracked a smile.

I own… One pair of golf shoes and one putter. I only have two feet. The most holes I've played in one day is… 36.

The lowest score I have ever shot is… 81.

I have come down with a case of golf flu… A couple of dozen times.

The person I would most like to crush on the golf course is… My son, Keith Jr.

The last time I did it was… Never.

My golf game is most like… Jim Furyk. I've actually had people say that my swing resembles Furyk's swing. Of course, I don't score like he does.

My golf clubs cost more than my television? No.

My refrigerator? No.
