Construction truck is vandalized with graffiti

Chesterfield police are seeking information on who may have vandalized a 1990 Ford F150 pickup truck owned by Express Electric left at a construction site in the 4700 block of Mountshire Lane on Apr. 7. A combination of words and some letters were spraypainted on the vehicle, but they did not include obscenities or slurs. The ignition was also punched.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Chesterfield Police Department at 748-1251 or Crime Solvers at 748-0660.

In other crime reports:

Chalkley Road. A plastic bottle with gas and burned paper sticking out of it was found on the ground near a mailbox in the 10700 block on Apr. 7.

Hull Street Road. Someone broke through the glass front door of Haley Toyota during the weekend of Apr. 7-8. Once inside, they stole one safe but were unable to take a second safe because it was bolted to the floor.

Midlothian Turnpike. Police have arrested three Richmond men for a robbery at Foremost Sales. They are Eric S. Williams, 30, of the 3200 block of Delaware Avenue; Toby D. Jenkins, 29, of the 2700 block of Bertram Road; and Shawn C. Green, 23, of the 2500 block of Crumpton Court. The victim left Foremost Sales in the 7200 block at 9:45 a.m. on Apr. 5 with the deposit bag when the suspects rushed him from behind and knocked him to the ground. A brief struggle ensued until the suspects got the deposit bag and ran off. The suspects were seen getting into a vehicle in a nearby apartment complex. Chesterfield police located the vehicle and took the suspects into custody after a brief chase on foot.

Silvertree Court. Someone stole a 1995 Nissan that was left running in the 15500 block around 5:45 a.m. on Apr. 6.

Swarthmore Road. The victims heard their dog barking at 10:38 p.m. on Apr. 7. When they went to investigate, they found their refrigerator under the carport of the residence on fire.
