Two Richmond women are arrested for prostitution
CRIME WATCH

Chesterfield police have arrested two women and charged them with prostitution and use of a vehicle to promote prostitution. The arrests were made Apr. 27, but police declined to say where in the county the women were arrested or provide any other details at this time.

The women are Lisa D. Kutschman, 40, of the 12200 block of Bunya Lane and Shannon K. Rebarchek, 28, of the 2500 block of East Grace Street.

In other crimes:

Chula Road. Dustin W. Phillips, 31, of the 11500 block Chula was arrested on Apr. 24 for assault and battery on a family member committed Apr. 20, 2004 and for stalking. Police declined to provide details because the alleged victim was a family member.

Huguenot Road. At 10:55 p.m. on Apr. 25, the victim was talking on her cell phone while sitting in her vehicle in a parking lot in the 1200 block. The suspect drove up and parked his vehicle beside hers. The victim became aware that the suspect was sitting in his vehicle, staring at her. When she looked over at him, he was exposing himself.

Iron Bridge Plaza. The friend of the victim borrowed her 1992 Geo, leaving the keys in the unlocked car in the 9100 block on the Saturday afternoon. When the victim went to the parking lot to retrieve her car, it was gone.

Jefferson Davis Highway. The victim pulled into a parking lot in the 6200 block at 8:10 p.m. on Apr. 25, and another vehicle pulled in beside his 2001 Dodge Intrepid. The suspect got out and took the car keys from the victim, returning all but the key to the ignition. He then got into the victim's vehicle and drove off.

+ At 12:30 a.m. on Apr. 26, in the 6100 block the suspect blocked the 7-11 cashier from closing the drawer to the cash register, taking the money. As the suspect ran outside, he saw another employee of the convenience store, and he pulled out his handgun and fired a shot as he ran away. No one was injured.

Midlothian Turnpike. The store clerks at Diamond Concepts in Chestefield Towne Center were distracted by customers while the suspect reached over the counter and took jewelry at 5 p.m. on Apr. 28.

Second Avenue. The victim awoke and screamed when she discovered the suspect in her bedroom in the 20800 block at 7 a.m. on Apr. 24. The suspect, who had entered the residence through the unlocked front door, fled with her purse and a family member in pursuit. The suspect dropped the purse after taking the money from inside. The suspect got away, but no one was injured.

South Street. The friends were sitting inside the 2005 Hyundai in the 3100 block at 1:40 a.m. on Apr. 27 listening to music and then went inside the residence, leaving the car idling. When they returned a couple minutes later, the vehicle was gone.
