Observer plays important role during fall elections

Dear Editor,

The upcoming election for supervisors of Chesterfield County will take place in November, and I am thankful that your newspaper reaches so many voters throughout the county. A local newspaper has the benefit of covering an election with great detail. I look forward to reading about all of the candidates throughout the election process.

This is an extremely important election for the Matoaca District because of the tremendous growth that has occurred in our area and lack of infrastructure to support this growth.

Chesterfield County residents want to be educated on all of the candidates so that we can make the most informed decision when we go to the polls in November. I would like to thank you in advance for the important role that your newspaper will contribute in bringing this information to us during the months ahead.
