Chesterfield police investigate home invasion robbery Chesterfield police are asking for information about a home invasion robbery that occurred at 2:15 a.m. on May 23 in the 2300 block of Banstead Road. Two black males, ages 15-20, entered the residence and demanded money and drugs at gunpoint. They fled with the money, and no one was injured. Anyone with information about this crime is requested to contact the police at 748-1251 or call Crime Solvers at 748-0660. In other police reports: Bensley Road. The victim was walking in the 3000 block at 6:40 p.m. on May 20 when he heard a noise behind him. When he turned around, a juvenile pointed a cap pistol at him and demanded money. Realizing that it was not a gun, the victim turned around and walked on, hearing the juvenile fire another shot from his cap pistol. Heppel Road. A 2003 Toyota pickup was stolen from the driveway of the victim in the 100 block on May 20. The vehicle was unlocked, and the keys were in the ignition. It was later found wrecked on Pocono Drive. Hickory Branch Drive. The suspect admitted to forcibly taking money from the victim earlier this month after school in the 20400 block. Later, the victim assaulted the suspect at school. Hopkins Road. Suspect(s) entered the W.S. Carnes' building, located in the 5700 block in Meadowbrook Plaza, through a hole in the roof on May 12 and vandalized the light fixtures and the interior of the building. Hull Street Road. The suspect entered the Walgreen's drugstore in the 11100 block at 11:42 p.m. on May 16 and laid a handgun on the pharmacy's counter before demanding Oxycontin. After receiving the drug, he ran out of the store. Johnston Street. Chesterfield police arrested three suspects on May 19 for theft from a residence in the 6600 block. Police say a fight occurred at the residence, and the suspects returned at 12:25 a.m. to rob the household. Little Creek Lane. The homeowner returned to his residence in the 4600 block at 9 p.m. on May 15 and found the two 16-year-old juveniles inside. He notified the police who arrived to arrest them. The suspects had gained entry through the rear door which had been damaged during a previous burglary. They are charged with breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony. Pine Glade Lane. The victims were in their home on May 20 at 8:45 p.m. in the Treemont neighborhood when they heard a noise in the kitchen. Someone had fired a bullet into the residence. No one was injured. Smoketree Drive. A 2001 locked Honda Civic was stolen from Monacan High School during the day on May 17. An unlocked Mercedes in the same parking lot had money and other items stolen from it. |
