The proposed amendment would require conditional use permit approval for commercial establishments seeking to sell alcoholic beverages, as defined in the Code of Virginia, § 4.1-100, for on-premises consumption, within 500 linear feet of a school, residentially zoned property, day care center, church or other place of worship.
