Chesterfield Observer fits her needs for news Dear Editor, In response to the Media Watch in the June 6 edition written by Greg Pearson, it is very sad when profits become more important than informing the public of the news (however, I am very aware that this is the way of corporate America these days). I do not subscribe to the [Richmond] Times-Dispatch for the simple reason that they just don't cover anything in my community. The single page that they had included before I canceled was an insult in my opinion. I love your paper....it is short and informative on many levels. You are always pretty quick to address the issues that have gone on within my community without having to be redundant or get your news from another source. The Chesterfield Observer fits perfect into my lifestyle. I am very grateful for your paper and the fact that we don't have to pay for it is even better. Thank you so much for all that you do and keep up the good work. J. Cahoon Midlothian |
