Cut the prep time

Want to skip the preparation and go right to grilling? There are several Chesterfield merchants who will prepare the meal to the point that it's ready for the grill or help you prepare a feast that you can grill at home. Check out Dream Dinners, My Girlfriend's Kitchen, Ukrop's stores and Entrée Vous, to name a few.

"We offer mostly entrées," noted Leigh- Anne Zwick, owner of Entrée Vous. "We can make the entrée for you or you can come in and assemble it yourself."

Pick-up entrées include everything from Chipolte Lime Shrimp Kabobs and Mesa Verde Flank Steak stuffed with spinach, cheese, mushrooms and bacon to Dijon-Crusted Pork Chops and Lemon Rosemary Chicken. Each entrée serves 4-6 guests and ranges from $18.90 to $26.90.

"That works out to about $4 per serving," Zwick says.
