Reader asserts caring for children is not a dirty job

Dear Editor,

It was shocking to read on your front page (July 25) the article entitled, "Dirty Jobs," listing the first "dirty job" as that of being a child care provider! I can't imagine any parent placing their most precious belongings - their small children - with people who consider taking care of them a "disgusting job!" I would strongly advise those workers to find other employment. What an incredibly immature attitude and insult to children and professional child care providers. It was certainly not amusing.
