Chamber hosts candidate debates

Candidates for the Chesterfield Board of Supervisors and the 11th District State Senate will face off during debates hosted by the county's chamber of commerce for its membership and the general public. The following debates have been scheduled:

• Midlothian District - Sept. 13, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Holiday Inn Select Koger Center, 1021 Koger Center Blvd. during the chamber's monthly luncheon. Registration is required, and the cost is $10 including lunch.

• Dale and Clover Hill Districts - Oct. 10, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Cultural Center of India, 6641 Iron Bridge Pkwy. during the chamber's monthly luncheon. Registration is required, and the cost is $10 including lunch.

• Matoaca District - Oct. 17, 6:30-9:30 p.m., Cosby High School, 14300 Fox Club Pkwy. Registration is recommended. Free.

• Bermuda District - Oct. 23, 6:30-9:30 p.m., Chester Middle School, 3900 W. Hundred Rd. Registration is recommended. Free.

• 11th District State Senate - Oct. 30, 6:30- 9:30 p.m., John Tyler Community College, 13101 Jefferson Davis Hwy. Registration is recommended. Free. Co-sponsored by the Chesterfield Business Council.
