High school marching bands to perform Oct. 1

Chesterfield County Public Schools is sponsoring a Marching Band Exposition at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 1 at Thomas Dale High School, located at 3626 W. Hundred Rd. Admission is free.

Marching bands from L.C. Bird, Clover Hill, Cosby, James River, Manchester, Matoaca, Meadowbrook, Midlothian, Monacan and Thomas Dale high schools will perform their field shows. In case of rain, the exposition will be rescheduled to Oct. 8.
