Wanted: Former Thomas Dale High School Marching Band members

Thomas Dale High School is seeking former members of its band program to perform as part of an alumni band at halftime during homecoming festivities on Oct. 19. Former flag squad members are also invited to participate.

"We know they're out there," said Steven Barton, the school's band director. "They may be a bit rusty, but we'd love them to come back and recreate their glory days. We can provide instruments, and we promise no grueling march drill."

Thomas Dale band alumni are encouraged to attend a special rehearsal in the band room on Thurs., Oct. 11 from 7-8:30 p.m.
