Headliners win tournament

The Chesterfield Observer's slow-pitch softball team won both halves of the 50-plus Chesterfield Men's Senior Softball League and last Thursday, took the double elimination, season-ending tournament by going undefeated. Coach Walter Bailey's Headliners were down 9-0 against the Players, but rallied to win 12-10.

Team members are John Aiello, Bootsie Bailey, Ray Douglas, Woody Hancock, Raye Harper, Rick Langford, Tommy Mackey, Greg Pearson, Fred Perry, Earl Spence and Darnell Williams.
