Author discusses his 12 Years as Dr. No Author/historian William G. Clotworthy will be a guest speaker during the Wellness & Leisure Series at Springdale at Lucy Corr Village on Thurs., Oct. 18, at 3 p.m. The series is free and open to the public. Clotworthy spent over 40 years in the advertising and broadcast business where he worked with such entertainment icons as Groucho Marx, Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Jack Webb and Johnny Carson. He spent six unforgettable years with General Electric Theater and its host, Ronald Reagan, and 12 comic years as Doctor No, the network censor on Saturday Night Live.
