Arts Council seeks grant applications

The Arts & Cultural Funding Consortium, administered by the Arts Council of Richmond, is currently accepting applications from arts and cultural organizations for general operating support. Organizations based in the county are eligible with a minimum annual budget of $13,500. Maximum grant awards will not exceed 15 percent of the organization's revenue budget.

The consortium uses a competitive panel review process. There will be a workshop for first-time applicants on Thurs., Nov. 8, at 4 p.m. Call 340-5281 to reserve a space.

The mission of the consortium is to maintain the stability and encourage the advancement of arts and cultural organizations in the metro Richmond area and to provide support for emerging arts and cultural endeavors. The consortium is funded by Chesterfield, Henrico and Hanover counties and Richmond.
