Naked man arrested in Bermuda Baptist Church

Chesterfield police arrested a 29-year-old Chester man who was allegedly found naked in a downstairs room of Bermuda Baptist Church in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 6. A witness told police Arture Davis apologized to him and then ran to a nearby building. Police arrested Davis a short time later and charged him with indecent exposure and trespassing.

In other crime reports:

Buck Rub Drive. Several unlocked vehicles were rummaged through in the 13900 block of the Deer Run neighborhood overnight on Nov. 2-3. Money and other items were taken.

Cogbill Road. Someone entered a classroom trailer at Meadowbrook High School between 4-5 p.m. on Nov. 2 and vandalized the interior of the classroom.

Colonnade Place. A 2007 Polaris Hawkeye ATV, a 1991 Yamaha YL200 Blaster and a Honda TRX were stolen from a residence in the 3600 block on Nov. 6-7.

East Bogie Road. Someone forced open the front door to an apartment in the Old Buckingham Apartments in the 3100 block during the day on Nov. 1 and stole clothing, household goods, jewelry and other items.

Jefferson Davis Highway. A 16-year-old male allegedly snatched a purse at 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 1 and took off on foot through the parking lot of Village Commons Shopping Center. A witness chased the teen, who was later arrested and charged with grand larceny.

• Several witnesses saw two suspects approach the victim at 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 6 in the Happy Hill Shopping Center in the 15900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. They pointed a gun at the victim, took a necklace and fled.

Robious Road. Someone lit fireworks inside of a mailbox in the 12400 block at 1:45 p.m. on Nov. 5.

Squire Hill Court. The victim was walking in the 4000 block toward his apartment at 8:56 p.m. on Nov. 2 when the suspect approached. The suspect displayed a handgun and struck the victim in the head. Two other suspects approached and forced the victim to his knees before taking his wallet. The suspects then fled in a vehicle driven by a fourth suspect.

Tiller's Ridge Drive. Someone used a rock to break out the window of a locked 2005 Chrysler parked in the 1100 block overnight on Nov. 4-5. Money and other items inside the vehicle were stolen.

West Hundred Road. The victim was smoking outside his room at the Days Inn in the 2400 block on Nov. 4 at 6:50 p.m. when the armed suspect approached. The suspect demanded the victim's wallet, and a struggle ensued. The victim was able to get the gun away from the suspect, but the suspect took the gun back and then fled on foot.
