Media General folds weekly Chesterfield newspaper

After just one year, Media General has ceased publishing the Western Chesterfield Exchange but gave no reason. The free tabloid size newspaper seldom reached even 20 percent paid display advertising.

Last week, Editor Elizabeth Farina wrote that the newspaper "is merging with [the] Midlothian Exchange." Media General is the parent company of the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
