CRIME WATCH
Suspects rob same victims twice in one night

It was a case of déjà vu for two men who were robbed by the same suspects twice on the night of Dec. 8.

According to police, the victims were working on their vehicles at 8 p.m. in the 8200 block of Salem Church Road when two black males approached, one armed with a handgun. They demanded the victims' money and then forced them into one vehicle before taking the vehicle's keys and running off to a waiting vehicle.

The victims used a second vehicle to go get a replacement set of keys. Upon returning to the scene, they were confronted a second time by the same suspects. They demanded their money again, but the victims said they had given it to them already. One victim said he knew a relative who had money, so the suspects forced both victims into one of their vehicles at gunpoint and drove to a residence in Richmond. One victim went inside to get money while the suspects kept the gun trained on the other victim. The first victim returned with the money, and the suspects had them drive back to Salem Church Road. The suspects then stole one of the car stereos, ran off and got into another vehicle to escape.
