Chesterfield cookbook

It was a pleasure to see that "The Full Plate" cookbook was finally published and for sale at our Chesterfield County libraries and the Magnolia Grange gift shop. What a beautiful publication and taste of our community's treasured recipes.

I had moved to Midlothian with my family shortly before I saw the "recipes wanted" ad in the Chesterfield Observer, and it seemed like a great opportunity to contribute something to our new community. Honestly, I had almost forgotten about that recipe submission, and it was to my delight to see that the published cookbook was now available for purchase. The next day, I had gone to my local library branch to see if my recipe was published...and it was!

What a wonderful gift idea for this holiday season for someone who loves to cook, a family new to Chesterfield or someone who is interested in a little community history!
