Seven named to Clover Hill High Hall of Fame

Five former athletes, a contributor and a longtime coach have been selected for induction into the Clover Hill High School Sports Hall of Fame. New members include Don Cahoon, football, basketball and baseball, 1978; Ryan Charles, basketball and volleyball, 1996; Patrick Kane, football and wrestling, 1983; Fred Stoots, football and baseball, 1995; Chris Rapp, Soccer, 1997; Margaret Flanagan, faculty contributor; and Jim Alberston, head coach for 15 years in six sports.

They will be officially recognized during the Class of 2008 banquet on Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. at the Bishop Ireton Center, located near Rockwood Park. Tickets are $25 and should be purchased by Jan. 10. For tickets, call Wayne Mehrer, 739-6236.
