CRIME WATCH
He said/she said has police pondering who is the victim
Police officers responding to the Fort Darling Motel in the 7500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway during the early morning hours of Dec. 21 are only really certain of one thing: there was some sort of dispute between an unidentified man and woman at the motel, but they aren't really clear on what exactly happened. The man says the woman took $50 from his hand, threatened him with a knife and then shut the door to her motel room. The female says the man solicited her for sex, and then became angry and threatened her with a knife when she turned him down. She then shut the motel door. When police arrived, neither party had the $50, leaving officers wondering who is telling the truth. Subsequently, no arrest has yet been made following the dispute.
