Community meeting to discuss "Beach Week" behavior

In The Spotlight Legalities and Realities: Senior Beach Week, Thurs., Jan. 31, 7 p.m., James River High School Auditorium, 3700 James River Rd. This workshop will focus on the ins and outs of Beach Week, from signing contracts to personal liability to health perspectives to law enforcement issues. A lawyer, police officer and a representative from the medical community will provide useful information for parents and teens. Free and open to the public. Sponsored by James River High School's PTSA and Midlothian High School's PTSA in partnership with Chesterfield County's Youth Planning & Development Office, Chesterfield Police Department and SAFE, Chesterfield's Substance Abuse Coalition.
